In addition to his bankruptcy and teaching schedule, Mr. Hayes maintains a blog (BankruptcyProf) at Law Professor Blogs. He has been certified as a bankruptcy specialist by the California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Central District Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys Assn.
